Hello, Gurucan creators!
It’s been a while so let’s catch up and share our progress!
A few words about us:
Gurucan - is a lean startup with a small but highly devoted team of enthusiasts and professionals whose goal is to turn Gurucan into the most wanted and high-quality creator economy platform!
A lot of essential tasks were resolved during the last few months:
Our tech team, consisting of two amazing developers, worked tirelessly to complete the most important stage — the foundation for scalability and stability.
The customer success team always focuses on providing the best support we can and making sure that Help Center is up-to-date and easy to navigate!
The management team (our founders) must provide the resources for the startup to grow. Funding leads to team growth, which in time will result in new features and greater product.
We understand your frustration and eagerness to speed up this process. We all want to start building new features, but the foundation was crucial for the platform in the long run. And we are not going anywhere, just starting!
No band-aids will lead to a solid product!
Gurucan is developing, and it’s not abandoned. Even though the new features are not on the front, Gurucan is becoming mature from the inside — architecture, servers, databases, analytics.
Now let’s move to what has been done, as we are completely open with you:
First, changed crucial block from monolith to microservices.
Secondly, we launched and successfully tested the failure monitoring service, which has proven its effectiveness with half a year of system performance without any significant failures!
Furthermore, the upload speed was optimized for the school, landings, photos, and videos. This architectural adjustment created by our two developers increased the speed dramatically and even doubled in some locations!
A new stability monitoring service for the servers with the custom domains was launched.
New service for issuing SSL certificates with a vaster group of available domains (12 new groups of domains)
And a new service for effective work with translations, which helps add new languages faster and easier and correct translation errors.
Our tech team fixed 170 local bugs during the last half a year connected with the following features:
