Now it is essential for any school that its content is reliably protected. No one can protect video from a direct recording - screencast, or just recording to the phone, just as you cannot protect yourself from tech-savvy users. If the video can be viewed, then it can be downloaded.

But we at Gurucan have created the strongest system to protect your videos.

How do we keep content safe?

Video access protection

Videos uploaded to the Gurucan platform will only be available to those students who need to have access to them. Students without access rights will not be able to view them in any way, so if a user simply sends a link to the video to a friend, it will not open.

Supported video formats: MOV, MP4, AVI, MPEG, WMV, M4V, WEBM, OGV, 3G2, F4V, 3GP, FLV

The maximun size of one separate video you upload is 3 GB

Protecting videos from downloading by direct link

If one of your students can view the source code of the page and find the link to the video in the code, or even install a browser plug-in for downloading videos, like Video DownloadHelper, they will fail.

Videos on Gurucan are protected from direct download and can only be viewed on the school website or in the app. No other online learning platform in the world has this protection.

Attention! This protection only works for videos uploaded to Gurucan hosting.

We can't wait to see your school alive!
